Delhi Master Plan Toolkit

The Masterplan Toolkit is an initiative to decrease the gap between planning and community participation, though the toolkit was made for the citizens of Delhi especially the ones living in informal settlements it is relevant for other Indian Cities as well, the chapters in the toolkit takes the participants through the process of making of Masterplan and the scope of engagement with the citizens, though the masterplan allows for participation and engagement of citizen, unfortunately, we do not take advantage of it, in fact in most of the cases the citizens are not even aware of the impact and importance of masterplan. The toolkit through various participatory approaches tries to bridge this gap. The project was funded by IGSSS, EMARA also did sessions with basti people at various parts of Delhi online and offline.
