Public Place Making at Metro Stations-New Delhi

EMARA was engaged in the designing of Public Spaces of eight elevated Metro stations in East Delhi of line 7 Mukundpur - Yamuna Vihar corridor of Phase - III Delhi MRTS namely, Mayur Vihar -1, Mayur Vihar Pkt -1, Trilokpuri, Vinod Nagar East, Vinod Nagar, IP Extension, Anand Vihar and Karkardooma. Almost all the Metro Stations are coming out near dense residential and institutional land uses. The stations were designed for universal accessibility and public green spaces were designed for commuters. The challenges included coordination with Multiple stakeholders, site services, etc.
